Free Ebay Tool and More
It is really amazing what is out there in this big old internet we have here. I have visited thousands of web pages in my day and it seems like everyday you can come up with something useful and interesting. Well this site is both. It is a great resource to check the price on something you might want to buy. It checks at Amazon, Target, Ebay, Bestbuy, etc…
That in itself would be pretty cool, especially for a FREE website, but what really got me excited is the Researcher ability. To find this you must go to http://www.mpire.com/ and scroll down to the Menu Items near the bottom and click on RESEARCHER. All you have to do after that is give your email address and than it is fully functional.
What does it do that makes it so cool you may ask. Well, if you ever sell anything on Ebay and wonder what is the best way to do that this is the tool for you. It will tell you if that item has been sold in the past 30 days, how much it sold for on average, what time of day the auction should end, what day of the week the auction should end, what category you should put it in, what keywords you should use in your auction. How about that? What more could you ask for? Especially for FREE.
I used it on something that I didn’t think would even be on Ebay to test it. I had a Coca-Cola Watch wrapped around a Polar Bear and had no idea what I could sell it for. I couldn’t believe that 3 of them had sold in the past 30 days and that I should probably get around $22.93 for it. It said not to put a starting price also. Valuable information on such a rare item I thought.
It actually sold for $23.50 plus shipping so I definitely got my money’s worth from http://www.mpire.com, well I got more than my money’s worth since, once again, the website is FREE.
Of course you could use this part of the website to backward search for something to find out how high you should go on your bidding. That is definitely another bonus to this site.
All in all I would say that this is my FIND FOR THE DAY. I will be using this site for as long as its is available, not only for ebay but also for all of my purchases that I would buy on the net. After all, thats the websites original function.
